B badge nightmare here! You did pretty well for this being your first time (Way better than my friend) Some tips I’ll give you:
Detention and Confined space is the “Meta” Build (Bring Teleport too)
Send a crow to a cipher you know where a survivor will be at OR send one during first chase.
Don’t rely on his normal hit unless you are really close.
Make sure to go after other survivors after chairing unless someone is near.
And oddly enough, Nightmare has a small pallet hitbox making his dash stand a chance

Pps: when ur at full presence you can also press the attack button twice to double dive attack
