It's really kind of an experience following this family and their shenanigans, from the first one where half the players were like "please man is Mia worth all this? Just leave, there's other fish in the sea" to now seeing him reunite with his daughter even after death. Maybe it's the daddy issues in me but damn that letter hit hard

Eveline is the only Resident Evil villain Iâve felt sorry for. She was just a kid that wanted a family and even ages into an old woman because of using her powers so much. They took her life away from her so part of me wished they would have given her consciousness a happy ending even if it would have been kind of cheesy. Eveline you can be Mirandas fake daughter, Miranda can be your fake mother, and you 2 can stop fucking with everyone elses lives.

Resident evil village came out not long after my daughterâs first birthday. Portions of that game hit me harder as a first time dad. Playing this DLC both hit me harder and scarred me more than the base game (mannequins). RE isnât usually known for the feels but the use of Rose as an awkward, bullied teenager trying to find her footing combined with Ethanâs fatherly dedication from beyond the grave really worked well IMO.

I was thinking at the very start "what sort of secret agent and bodyguard to a bio weapon and possibly the most powerful person on the planet just takes her into a secret lab and tells her how to remove her powers? Not to mention HOW he would know any of this?" and of course its a mimic. I like rose as a character, and I like how they tied in the ending cutscene, the "mysterious figure" is no doubt Ethan, sort of stereotypically watching over his daughter from the afterlife. I like this and i'm looking forward to what they do with rose going forward.

Miranda confuses and irritates me: Yes, she's technically "dead" in the "real world" and exists within the megamycete but so does Eva. If she's so in control and can create people and things, why not just piece together Eva's memories, give her form and live out her time with her child? I bet she could even allow her to grow up, or remain a child if that's her thing, and build them some "happy ever after" existence. If her daughter found herself and memories in an unrecognizable body (shell) she'd probably lose her everloving mind. Miranda is too greedy: she wants her daughter, the megamycete powers, and complete control over everyone; she's going to constantly shoot herself in the foot with her schemes.
