Finally an honest sketchbook! Seriously, I use mine more as a journal and when I paint or draw in it, I feel such a pressure to not ruin the ''aesthetic'' of it, because most of the sketchbooks we see online are so pretty and cool. Though truly, this is what a sketchbook is meant to be. A place were you can be messy, experiment, brainstorm, etc. I really appreciate your video.

Hahaha a sketchbook that finally looks like mine.. you know when you watch a sketchbook tour on YouTube and you walk away feeling totally depressed.. because theirs look so beautiful. I love the real sketch book tour! 😂❤ - you're still 10x better then me.. and I'm old - but I just found your videos and you're super fun to watch. Good luck in art school and on your art Journey. I ADORE your intro, that alone had me subscribe! Now I can't wait to see what you've done! I've said on a few that I want to have my first sketchbook tour (I'm nearly finished with one), but it's more than just opening up your book and spilling your images to the world (already a lot of it is out there anyhow, as far as my Insta and FB, but not one whole sitting). Watching all "the kids" with their tours (and of course, now you are one of them, lol), has inspired me to share more and to actually stick with it, beyond the note taking for my other work. Happy to be a new fan!(and to help with the Algo...)

I love watching those really beautiful, thought out sketchbooks on youtube.
But mine never were like that. I tried to only draw nice pages in my sketchbooks but just ended up not using my sketchbooks much in fear of ruining them and just drawing on loose paper. I've been trying to get back to using my sketchbooks for the longest time, but it's super intimidating even though I'm trying to not put pressure on myself and just do whatever in them.
Thanks so much for this video, I really love your sketchbook! I've only been watching you for about 2 months so I didn't see your other sketchbook tour, but I'll look for it. I actually love all those loose sketches and ideas for paintings as when I get an idea, my initial sketches are very rough as well haha. But I really enjoyed all those colours and just fun you have in the sketchbook, it's really inspiring for me to actually start using my sketchbook more for just silly sketches or literally just scribbling like you did with some pages.
