Ok, so- I literally live 90% of your cottagecore dreams. I have a little house in the woods with a big veggie garden, flowers, farm and farm animals. I make all of our bread, keep flowers on the table and hang sheets on the clothesline as well as homeschool three small children. Let me be the first to tell you it is a freaking ton of work. But don’t ever let work stop you from doing something. Work is beautiful and worth while. Whether you live on a farm or are a student studying listen to beautiful music, put out flowers and romanticize your life. Everything can be drudgery if our attitudes designate it as so and anything can be a pleasure with a happy heart.

personally I think cottage core is one of the best aesthetics because if you go deeper it promotes the idea of living as ethically and naturally as possible. Growing your own vegetables, making your own clothes, by extension not purchasing from large corporations and supporting capitalism, spending less time with technology, moving to more rural areas and spending it in nature, spending more time with loved ones and friends and baking for them, it's really cute and a good lifestyle choice for those who want to say screw you to capitalism and consumerism!! let us not be sheep in the herd!

🙀 who else wants to live in a cottage, dressed up like the picture in the video, have a deer and a bunny, listen to this music while having a picnic with your pets, listening to the birds? ✨
if i grow up, i wish to have a life like that 🌱🌿🌫️ some people wants to live in a mansion, be rich. but i don't want to be like that, i wanna be simple ☺️🌿✨🌻🐣🕊️

The amount of pure serotonin from this playlist really soothes the fear that life will be the same meaningless ordeal everyday. It makes you feel as if you are passing through the life freely like a leaf in the wind 🍃 free from cares. I resonate with the image too. To be careless in serenity by the river.

Okay, so I read some of the comments on here, and they really made me miss my childhood years. Sadly, my side of the story is the complete opposite. I live in Damascus, a city that went through 10 years of civil war. I and many others have had to endure the frequent sounds of missiles sprawling out of nowhere. The missile sounds are less frequent now but I still find it hard to calm myself down to sleep peacefully. I'm also a med student which means I get to round in different hospitals around the country. All I get to see is malnourished kids and abused women, and it feels like a piece of my soul gets ripped each day... I'm glad I at least have access to the internet to listen to these beautiful melodies. I play them each night, and it eases my PTSD. In midst of all the insanity people experience here, it seems like music never fails to keep us sane.

my dream is seen by mom as not a lot. well, it doesn't matter to me. i want to be passionate about my future job. even if i earn little. i want to be a florist in France. i want to live on the countryside and be peaceful. I want to dance in my own flower garden picking flowers to sell at my flower shop. the thought of it makes me happy and finally let go of all the sad troubles i am feeling right now. my family disagrees with my dream because it's not being a doctor or an engineer. but i don't care. it makes me the happiest.
