A while ago, when I saw him, he didn't hide his anger, his stress, his anxiety, his pain. Now he drowns in all the popularity he always wished to have, and never does what he really feels. He lets himself be led and swayed by everyone's opinion, as if their aproval was more important than air itself. The ones he hated are now the ones he shares every breathing moment with. this song honestly means so much to me. even though my meaning isn’t what it’s supposed to be. My best friend and I are drifting apart right now, we’ve been friends 11 years. And yet she always keeps her feelings to herself. We’ve fell out of friendship as we’ve gotten older I guess and we go to different schools now. She’s now in a bad crowd and there’s nothing I can do for her and it’s so painful to watch. Because there’s a lot going on in her life and I can’t even help her. It’s like every time we do something together now she’s like half there, I can tell by her fake laughs and smiles that she doesn’t want to be there and it sucks because I know why she feels that way and she thinks nobody knows. I’m just waiting for her to tell me knowing she never will.
EDIT (2/11/20) omg this is crazy 129 likes wtf?? this feels so long ago, at the time of writing this comment i was in a really awful place and felt so alone because I couldn't even talk to my best friend normally. It's so strange to see how much I've matured emotionally. I talked to her about it but only a couple of weeks after writing this I believe. If you are going through the same thing, just tell them you're there for them, they probably feel pretty alone and confused right now, too.
And give it time, I know it feels awful right now but honestly if you are true friends, you will get through this and things will get better. For me, everything is back to normal now, but if you don't get through this, know that it's ok. People drift apart and it's cliche but there are other fish in the sea.

Recently, I got a copyright strike for one of my old videos that was kinda popular. If it happens twice more this channel will be gone. If I get striked again, I'll probably delete all my videos so I can keep this channel. Apologies if that ends up being a thing that has to happen. I just enjoyed making lyric videos for fun when I was in highschool, and my understanding was that they could monetize the videos themselves and thus I'm giving them support while also having fun video editing. It was harmless. But there's nothing I can do because technically they are the right to take my stuff down. It's been a good run 💜
