Just an observation: At 3:01 just as she walks out of the screen right after “But what if we're villains on the other?” The screen turns fully black and in some certain cases, you'll see your reflection. Whether it be intentional film design or not (though I defo think it is), this further implicates the message of the song, and I just find that so awesomee ☆*: .。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

[ 1:30 ] Can we appreciate that fact in Korean she just said "Gae say" as a pun for "Son of a-" in Korean?
Absolute genius

I just have to get my thoughts out. Whenever she says "We pretend to be the heros on the good side but what if we're the villains on the other ?" I know it's supposed to be interpreted like " Oh you think you're a hero when you're actually a villain !! " But i swear , i interpretted that different and it gave me a whole new moral. I literally interpreted it as "You may be the hero in your own eyes but in the eyes of the other side you're the villain" thingy.

"The person you hate the most is someone's beloved child," is such a brilliant line. When you hate a person, you find something about them, maybe even everything about them, to be unacceptable to you. But most likely everyone you end up not being able to stand will have people in their lives who adore and cherish them. Even the most evil people in history have had people who loved them, who chose to see good in them and the things they did. It's all about perception, the exact lesson this song is trying to teach. It's almost never black and white, good and bad. We're all capable of being the hero of our own stories and the villain in someone else's, even through something as simple as petty jealousy. It's a hard thing to come to terms with, but it's often a universal truth.

Sorry if this is one of those “water is wet” type comments but I haven't really seen anyone mention this yet. The word “villain” is misspelled during the first chorus and someone comes along and fixes it, and in the cooking scenes, there are blurred pieces of food around the “perfect dish”. In both scenes, the flaws and imperfections are hidden, changed or blurred. This is because we believe that we are on the good side, we will never be the bad guy in our own eyes and we don't want to see what we've done wrong. So how do we cope with any of our wrongdoings or flaws? We hide them, we pretend they aren't there. Sorry this comment is so confusing I'm stupid but I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. Someone else can probably explain it better.
