A sophisticated, elegant, classy classical music playlist for those who appreciate timeless beauty.

If you're wondering what «distinguished gentleman» means, in the dictionary, it is someone who commands respect. He is the kind of man who exudes excellence when he enters a room. Not only is he well-mannered; he is also well-informed and well-dressed, and of course, has impeccable music taste ✨ As Confucius put it: «A gentleman is not afraid because he has courage; not confused because he has wisdom; and not worried because he has charity in his heart». (please note: these playlists are just for fun. They are meant to keep you company whilst you read, write, watch your favourite period drama, etc. They're for hopeless romantics and people who sometimes feel like they were born in the wrong century. We do not wish to perpetuate any kind of gender stereotypes.)

Honourable men! Genuine gentlemen! I must say that, in my life as distinguished gentleman, scientist, philosopher, man of power, husband and father of fifteen children, I have never before heard such lovely, gentle and harmonious sounds coming from my Columbia BI Sterling gramophone. This reproduction of recorded sound has my full approval and I will make a note of it in my diary that I am keeping for the last 81 years.

Dear Esteemed Curators of Harmonic Delights, In a world where one's ears are incessantly bombarded by the cacophony of modern tunes, stumbling upon your YouTube sanctuary of classical melodies is akin to discovering an oasis in a cultural desert. As a self-proclaimed distinguished gentleman, who finds solace in the refined symphonies of yore, I must tip my hat (or rather, adjust my monocle) in your direction. Your latest auditory offering had me so enthralled, I felt an irrepressible urge to dust off my quill pen, unroll a pristine parchment, and embark on a literary expedition fueled by the timeless cadences you so generously provided. In the vernacular of our times, your playlist is 'lit', transporting me to a realm where Bach and Beethoven are the real MVPs. Thank you for being the conductors of this melodious time machine. Your selections are not just music to my ears, but a siren call to my creative muse. Keep those bops coming! Yours in high spirits and higher culture, Sir Rigo of Nowhereshire

Purely splendid! It seems too often that a love of that which is chivalrous, honorable, and beautiful is easily lost on the modern masses; but, to my joy, you have provided beauty to encourage and refresh us and bring to light a love of wonder, nostalgia, and purity. Much thanks, my good friends! I can testify that it is by your help that I have been able to enjoy beauty all the more. I shall certainly have to enjoy this with a cup of tea.

Beautiful. Thank you for this content. A couple of years ago I started romanticizing my life and surroundings, I no longer listen to secular music and find much pleasure in classical music and Gregorian Chant. It's helps me elevate my thoughts and enriches my soul. Oh my what I have been missing! My fiancé listens to classical as well and he is a perfect gentleman. Recommend this to him. Subscribed! 💋
