El contexto (creo que de la versión final de la canción) es bastante triste, el hecho de que Cry Baby fantaseaba con qué Johnny llegará a su fiesta y no lo hizo, imaginándose varias situaciones y una de ellas era que le pusiera un anillo pop (de ahí el nombre de la canción y creo que está canción es precuela de Pity Party)
