My dad was in the Army for most of my childhood so there were several stretches of time where he'd be gone and the house would be so quiet without him. Whenever he was home, he would always practice his acoustic guitar at night after my sister and I had gone to bed, and it lulled me to sleep every single time. Even now as an adult, I go to sleep smiling when I listen to soft acoustic guitar music because it gives me that comfort of 'dad is home safe, the family is complete again, and all is well'.

Sitting here in a cozy little cabin in Montana, listening to this soulful music and having a cup of coffee. I look outside and see the snow-topped mountains, It's been years since I have felt this peace, Lives many ups and downs, twists and turns brought me here. Hard lessons, and still just a baby in this wide vast world, I won't let this world take away my pride as a mother and companion. I am so happy I found this playlist!!! I'm a content writer with ADHD, so I love having background music, but if it has words, I tend to get distracted. My favorite style of music is Indie, but when I try to listen to indie songs with words I end up making playlists instead of working..lol!
