Sitting here in a cozy little cabin in Montana, listening to this soulful music and having a cup of coffee. I look outside and see the snow-topped mountains, It's been years since I have felt this peace, Lives many ups and downs, twists and turns brought me here. Hard lessons, and still just a baby in this wide vast world, I won't let this world take away my pride as a mother and companion. Each day is another day to be grateful to be alive, still growing, and seeking to be better than yesterday. To show my babies that life is WORTH LIVING. If you are reading this today I wish you luck, peace, joy, and adventure! Keep going, because life is amazing, if you just stop to notice ;) A loving mom, girl friend, and best friend!!

My dad was in the Army for most of my childhood so there were several stretches of time where he'd be gone and the house would be so quiet without him. Whenever he was home, he would always practice his acoustic guitar at night after my sister and I had gone to bed, and it lulled me to sleep every single time. Even now as an adult, I go to sleep smiling when I listen to soft acoustic guitar music because it gives me that comfort of 'dad is home safe, the family is complete again, and all is well'.
