Trent Reznor really has a deep skill for soundtracks.
When he accepted some award for this, after he was being interviewed and they asked how he felt. He responded “I’m happy and alive”
That simple. The man that made head like a hole.
He wanted to be part of something his kids could enjoy and things like this showcase years of growing, not only as an artist but really as a human.

Again, I still love Pixar no matter how much hard anyone would try to convince me to quit.
But y'know? this song kinda actually feels calming because it reminds me of the times I think about my real Disney childhood favorites besides Pixar ever since the 2000s and 2010s such as Winnie the Pooh,Jetix,Pirates of the Carribean,my favorite guilty pleasures from the Experimental/Post-Renaissance era, and TRON.
Also, the fact that the same dudes who composed the soundtrack of one of my favorite guilty pleasures of TMNT, Mutant Mayhem made this soundtrack from Soul even puts a smile on my face😄

This movie was released a month before my husband died 3 years ago. It is Such a beautiful movie that saved us.
Watching this with my son (4 at the time)It saved me from giving a complicated explanation of where his Dad was and about Death in a more simplistic and beautiful way rather than sad. I was able to explain to him that his Dad went to the Great Beyond or Bubble world for him. My son thought the souls looked like bubbles, hence the term Bubble world and he understood it perfectly 🥺💔❤️
