As a kiwi I don't know why our kiwi pundits rate Havili so highly. JK wants him in the ABs starting team ffs. The guy never plays well against physical and rush defences which is pretty much most teams at international level. I wouldn't have him anywhere near the ABs.

Get rid of the Jackal? Seriously? We had no problem when Richie was the best in the world at it. Also, think about what you’re even suggesting, attacking sides will be able to hold on the ball for as long as they want unchallenged unless the defending team wants to dedicate big numbers to going for counter rucks which depletes the defensive line leaving them exposed? So this change would complete f*ck teams that pride themselves on a strong defence. Look, i’m all for speeding the game up for fast flowing attacking rugby but come on, changing the laws to purposefully compromise defensive structures simply for the sake of attacking rugby is not the way.

Though I was disappointed that my Chiefs lost to the Reds, I gotta say!! I'm so happy that Aussie are starting to be competitive. Now all they need is a bit of consistency. It's very rare that Aussie teams back up their talk but I'm happy to see that it's happened.
Hopefully they can keep this form going heading into The Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship.

Some call it banter but the obvious intolerance of each other that exists between Jeff and JK does not make for enjoyable viewing. Such a stark contrast to Aotearoa Rugby Pod and the Aussie rugby shows. I wish Sky TV would take notice of the dwindling interest in this once popular show, and consider a new panel.

Competitive because the Aussie teams are largely intact post-world cup. The Hurricanes and Highlanders have both lost their talisman player, and the Crusaders and Chiefs have been hit with even bigger losses. If an Aussie team (ie the Reds) is going to win the thing, this year will be the best chance before the nz rookies get up to speed.

JKs assumption that Christie is the starting ABs starting 9 is presumptive at best. If he didn't play for the Blues, JK wouldn't rate him as highly. Roigard is serious class and getting better every week. He's bringing to the game a physicality and willingness to run off the base of the ruck that gives such an advantage to the Hurricanes. And he's wicked tough.
