With the Disney board trying to fend off Nelson Peltz getting a board seat to get another voice apart from Bob Iger in the room, it's been an interesting investor call. The votes are in and Nelson Peltz lost, taking Disney's last chance with them. Bob Iger may make promises, but does he even understand the problem? Is he capable of it? Supposedly in an incredibly strong time for Disney as Disney+ is still losing money alongside their movies, what are the investors thinking? Far from being happy with Disney, the questions during the call were largely antagonistic. Yet as Bob Iger won, his acceptance speech basically doubled down on more of the same for Disney. And with the acolyte on the way, it seems there is no change of direction for Disney through 2026 given Bob Iger's continuing contract. How much lower can Disney sink?
