Bo: Isn't anybody gonna hold me accountable? Also Bo: Fine, I'll do it myself

"Can we also allow (young) people to live and fail and learn?" Yes, šŸ’Æ% this. Exactly. šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

some of you need to realize if bo himself realized he fucked up, you donā€™t need to come to his defense. heā€™s said many times comedians shouldnā€™t get defensive about their past jokes if they donā€™t hold up, and heā€™s also said how he doesnā€™t need people to defend him.

I love how reflective he is about it. Itā€™s always strange when people insist he hasnā€™t apologized or addressed his stuff. I think more than any other performer with past edgy material heā€™s been the most reflective and humble about it.

It's crazy how Bo a guy in his mid20s back then understood cancel culture and comedy on the non political correctness side like 5 years before it became what it is now, he is great understanding that both sides have their lows

It sucks that despite all of the times he admits that his old material was problematic and apologizing about it, a lot of people still think that heā€™s racist and homophobic and say that he ā€œnever took actionā€ to change šŸ„“

Finally a comedian that doesn't cry about cancel culture when they get criticised

And he's really fucking sorry. PS: Did you hear about the new Bo news? He's quit the LA Lakers HBO thing due to 'scheduling conflicts'.

We need to talk about the fact that the guy in the second clip looks like someone tried to draw Stephen Colbert from memory.

Always self-reflective. Which is insane considering that his offensive stuff was also mixed in with this self-reflective material in his early days.

I actually really like this clip. I have a very love/hate relationship with jokes that are ironically bigoted. I mean I do feel like these mindsets should be made fun of and laughed at wherever possible (and I'd say a grand majority of Bo's material, even as a teenager, had this intention and 0:22 starts with him admitting that) but the major problem with being ironically bigoted is simple, the true bigots are too fucking stupid to get the joke.

I do like Bo's opening up to saying his old material is dated & doing that on his own terms, but more oft-than-not terminally online people who actively look for old shit as a way to scold celebrities & hold careers hostage are the most sanctimonious dickheads. Work on yourself before trying to work on others.

I love how he can take mistakes and learn from them, unlike other people who joke about it and deny it. Also the same sweater from how the world works 4:17

Do we all remember being around that age and singing all those songs and loving them? We would get so happy to watch more of his stuff.
