For you Mark and anyone else in the comment section, the 2nd game was based from Indonesia. It was Indomie Mie Goreng, a brand of instant fried noodles. The reason why the character says "I need to buy water." is because we don't (and shouldn't) use tap water for drinking or cooking because the tap water in Indonesia is not hygienic enough. It is good enough for washing and bathing but you'll get stomachache if you use it for drinking or cooking. Hence, the character need to buy "proper" clean water usually in the form of drinkable bottled water.

8:42 can I just say that the vibrato and quality of that note was amazing? Seriously. Especially cause as someone who sings, my larynx can barely achieve it because of its structure and my age. That first game was really cool. You never really get stuff set from the perspective of a homeless person, you don't usually have to do things like scrounge for cash, and you don't usually get something just slooowly following you.. so many unique traits in one game!
