Great Talk. A lot of great info for people trying to make 3D art into a career. A podcast might be a good idea. Even if itās once a month. There are so many people in the industry now and having a podcast about the artists life would be great for many. I listen to podcasts every day when Iām working and Iām sure itās the same for a lot of 3D artists

The same dilemma of "Hay you have to be a doctor or engineer" that took me away from what I loved. But I am happy that after some 20 years I am back doing what i love "making animations"
Faucher and Alvaro are my main mentors. And yes no degree is needed I have learnt all of it from the internet

Great outcome in the end! I'm loving the path tracer for shots at the moment as well - still a little slower than spitting out Lumen frames, but it makes for some of the nicest fast shots I've personally been able to create.
And that lighting on the concrete tower looked so good! I used to dream of dramatic lighting like that, back in the VRay days :)
Great session - thanks for the stream :)

Whooooo!!!! ADHD youāre conversation around this was so amazing, are we twins lol. Why is literally everything you say something that I do lol. At 35 Iām finally starting to understand my brain and it seems like a lot of us are at a similar time. Starting to understand why I enjoy and am good at the things I am into. Wonder how many other 3D artists are the same in this way. I do think some of the skills needed are boosted by adhd. You and Will are awesome!

As always love love love, been following William for a bit, and of course your good self... (turns volume up to hear you over my GPU's) I moved from being a 3d artist into actually making stuff, but used my 3d skills to cross that bridge.. now i just do 3d more as a hobby.. and you and William have totally re-ignited my passions.. I have worked for various post production companies and owned a 3d company myself for a few years.. Unreal, Carise, GPU rendering / CPU rendering enjoying the fast evolution going on.. 20 years of boring and then bang just in the last two years things got interesting again.. Loving seeing so many good looking renders! more of a level playing field and fast results are making people hang in there and not giving up to early. May you both have a strong work ethic and prosper! xx

More of this. Iāll listen to podcasts all the time, but sitting and watching you both talk and workā¦ I never realized how much I identify with you both. Perhaps itās just me but I think you two are a great pair on here.
