Oh good God! Wow! The memories just come flooding back. The 80's really were absolutely glorious. I know I was there. This is just more prof that music and movies were so much better in the 80's. I had most of these albums on cassette tape. The nostalgia is so strong it huts. Thank you.

I was born in 81 and grew up with my a family where uncle's were young and this was played every day the best of best now im 43 and only listen to 80s and 90s best era eva me wifey aswell from the 80s thanks for the memories we will neva get it back so can only remember it from south Africa and miss the school (sokkies) dances thanks again for the best of best memories

How good was growing up in the 80s?, it was so good we even recognized it while it was happening. I know more than a few times after a party was winding down back then, the few of us would sit back and toast to our luck of growing up in a sweet spot in history. No wars, no drafts, great music, beautiful girls, things werent that expensive, nothing to really worry about if you were lucky enough to be a white middle class kid, things you wanted were within reach, and best of all, adults let kids be kids. For sure it wasnt perfect, and was harder for some then others, but for many of us, we would go back in a heartbeat, and this is coming from a guy who has had a pretty blessed life.
