@newlywedspodcast I wonder if you could do me a huge favour (if you're still reading the comments on these) and pass on my respects to Michael and Hillary. I used to be one of the ladies who had the pleasure of looking after "The Mother" in a care-home in Hampshire in her later years. She was an absolute gem of a woman. So forthright and sometimes very cheeky, but a wonderful human. I met them once (very briefly) and they were charming and gracious, and I have been a huge fan of them ever since. Jack even gave the care-home staff a gift of gig tickets and we all went and met him before the show. It was a brilliant experience. The show, as always, is amazing and I love listening/watching every week :)

The Whitehalls are intelligent and fun... the best to watch and listen to... Sophie and Jamie deliver one of the best podcasts - if you're looking for a little pop culture, info and hilarity...
oh gosh - you've just reminded me that my father and then my siblings and I, would ensure that my mother received the biggest box of chocolates from Darrell Lea - for most of my mother's life the delivery would have to wait for my father to go to Sydney or Melbourne to buy in-store... Two-tier tray and the box about 30cmx20cm... I've just gone back to my childhood...
'In 1917, with the help of Esther, Harry started making and selling homemade sweets at the back of his Manly (Sydney) Corso fruit shop to boost sales during the slower winter months, a sideline move that proved so prosperous they started up their Castlereigh Street (Sydney) milk bar and confectionery store in the City’s Haymarket precinct, circa 1924, as some sources say it was three years later.' iluvlollies

By far one of the funniest episodes; I was in stitches. Bring them back when you can. :)
