One time a girl asked what my opinion on Taylor was, and I said shes overrated (and she is. If you disagree you are just wrong). The girl then looked at me like I just blew up her house or something and tried to hit me. She then said I was a deranged human being and how I need mental therapy.
She then said: âok well who do you think is a good music artist? Name two.â And I thought for a second and answered: Micheal Jackson and Eminem. She then said Micheal Jackson is dead so he doesnât matter, and that Eminem has basic beats and no originality. First off, Micheal Jackson may be dead, but thriller, beat it, Billie Jean, and smooth criminal are better than anything Taylor swift has made. secondly, Micheal Jackson had an impact on us. Think of the memes: the moonwalk, the gif of him eating popcorn, the one where he leans 45 degrees (I donât know what itâs called but Iâm sure you know what Iâm talking about).
And lastly, Taylor has some of the most basic pop beats and generic lyrics ever. You can NOT say Eminem has basic rap beats if you think Taylor is original.
(And by the way, Micheal Jackson and Eminem are not my favorite artists, just some good ones)
