Wow! A display like that on a machine that expensive is just bad imo. Personally I had experiences with several HP laptops at various price points. And now after those I just avoid anything from HP. My favourite anecdote is when an Envy x360's hinge broke as I was opening the laptop, cracking the screen in the process. Mind you, the laptop had less than a year. But the reason for the failure was that in a laptop with an all-aluminum body the hinges were screwed (with metal screws) to a hard plastic plate, that broke. And all the other laptops were plagued with issues that made me feel like I was being scammed every time.
And don't get me started on printers.

No way this cat gets that kinda volume without a blow dryer... Oh, and nice laptop.
Edit: That's a big no from me after seeing the matte and dull display.
I suspect I'll stick with my M1 Air for quite a while longer. Battery life is still absolutely amazing and I got mine very shortly after they were launched.

13:19 from the short direct head to head sound comparason i can definitely tell you that they're not the same, the new one has way less highs & sounds a bit muffled compared to the old one ;)

5:30 There is no way you can have a pixel response time that terrible on a laptop from 2024 that costs more than $300. I was thinking of getting this cause I too value battery above all else, but god damn that's a non-starter.

They should divorce themselves from their printer division because when I hear HP, now all I think about is their printer trying to become a subscription.
