Thank you Eric! I know what you mean about eating "leftovers" for days! This sounds like the perfect Hobby Farm bird. I looked for them and they are available from McMurray Hatchery....survival rates and experiences seem to vary according to reviews. I may just try some of these this Spring. Thanks again.

Iām also curious about the eggs, as I donāt hear Turkey eggs mentioned in the āhomesteading egg litanyā. And, do you have any suggestions for where they are available? Thank you, great spotlight!

They sound wonderful. I tried regular turkeys many years ago but they all died. Someone told me that you can't raise turkey with chickens. Is this true? Are these turkeys good at foraging?
