Two things got me in this hangover shoot. 1. They all got full plates of food. 2. There wasn't a single water bottle in sight.

Hangover cure Southern style - big plate of chicken fried steak and sausage gravy and biscuits and hash browns and scrambled eggs and bacon. And tons of water. And a Bloody Mary πŸ˜‚

I miss a good Canadian truck stop breakfast. Peameal bacon, eggs, toast, home fries, sausage, ham, pancake and maple syrup. If you can find a truck stop that let's you double down and add a poutine to go with it, you've found hangover Nirvana.

Spice Bag ? ? Per Wikipedia... "The dish is most commonly sold in Chinese takeaways in Ireland. Typically, a spice bag consists of deep-fried salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken (usually shredded, occasionally balls/wings), red and green peppers, sliced chili peppers, fried onions, jalapenos and a variety of spices."

I love how everyone is just so happy in this video and I can just imagine Stafford coming in for the next one thinking it should be this good only to find out Colin and Sean have found new durian products to try.

The nice thing about the left over curry sauce from the spice bag is that it can be used with everything else. Curry sauce on eggs? Yes please.

To Ciara's point about "a Chinese" I think it's more that to American ears "ordering a Chinese" sounds like you're ordering a Chinese person. We would say "ordering Chinese" instead.

My hangover cure food is a chicken shwarma with spicy sauce, tahini and amba (pickled mango sauce) plus lettuce, tomato, onions and pickled parsnips. The layered flavors help a great deal.

Chilaquiles for hangovers (which I miraculously don't get, my one genetic blessing)

Big glass of water and a couple aspirin before passing out is a game changer on its own. Unfortunately that info is rarely in my head when it hits the pillow after getting carried away. Bloody Mary and a rare rib eye is my favorite hangover meal, but usually I just eat whatever is laying around the house and whine about it.

A big, fluffy, salty American biscuit to soak up the sins and a room temp Gatorade get me back in shape.

OMG Paddy "motorboating" the noodle dish , HYSTERICAL. Cure wise? Stay drunk or the alternative is a large glass of water with some salt to re-hydrate you (we are 98% water and hangovers are usually dehydration based) and never lay down when spinning.... wait till that stops and you are golden. At 57 I can say I have only been "hungover ill" once (NEVER to be repeated).

An Irish Fry-up you can have the next morning. You can have a Spice Bag right after the pubs have closed. I'm just saving up until I can visit Ireland and have a proper spice bag.

In true Canadian fashion, a big ol' poutine with lots of cheese curds is my go-to hangover meal. Cures what ails ya after ya ale'd ya, haha!

Cindy's 71 year old Dad here. As someone who has had more drinks than he should have, the best cure is to not get hungover. Before going to sleep, drink at least a pint of water, tea, or soda. You won't be dehydrated thereby preventing the hangover. Take the word of one who knows. Also, I have chicken fillet on a half loaf of french bread quite often. Mayo, lettuce and onion for me, but never for a hangover. Learned something new. And we live in the U.S., so not just an Irish thing, TRYers.
