I wish Angelo got more recognition not only for his own music but his amazing performances on this album. This song was clearly completely sung by him, with Sufjans own humming and vocalization in the background, but still completely sung by Angelo. And it was quite the performance 🥹

The more I listen to the entire album and let it all sink in, the more this song seems to rise to the top of mind. The vocal performance by Angelo is stunning, artful and heartfelt. The composition and arrangement is perfection. Love this song... and that evocative little choir at the end. It's just magic.
