imagine. It's 2am. you had a long day but for some reason just can't sleep. you finally feel yourself drifting off, but suddenly. You hear this playing. It's very faint, and sounds pretty far away, but still noticeable. It starts gradually getting louder, as you start hearing quick footsteps. in your half-asleep state, you can't for the life of you figure out what's happening. but then, it hits you like a train. you don't know what to do, or if you can do anything besides start running, so that's what you do. you bolt out of bed and out your door. about halfway down the street you look over your shoulder and see spongebob sprinting at you full speed. you also realize that he is slightly faster than you and is gaining on you. adrenaline kicks in and you start sprinting down the street at speeds you didn't even think were possible for humans to travel at. you're striking the ground so hard that you are cracking the asphalt. all that and the road still seems to go on forever. you realize that you're running out of adrenaline and starting to slow down. you know your fate if you stop running, so you keep pushing the limits of what should be possible. you know that you can't keep doing this and that your legs will give out if you keep going. as that thought crosses your mind, you see the end of the street and at the end is a black and white checkered pattern that looks like a finish line on the road. you realize that if you reach that, you'll be safe. so you push harder and harder, but you are out of stamina and burning through adrenaline faster than a jeep burns gas. you are quickly losing speed while gasping for air, desperately trying to recover some stamina. but as the song gets louder, and you grow ever slower, you can only pray to whatever gods you may believe in that he does not make you eat the nasty patty. for your capture is immanent.
