this has got to be the best produced declan song to date. the soundscapes, what seem to be string samples, and the overall instrument choices bring a much needed breath of fresh air to the bedroom / indie sound. whole lot of kudos to whoeverâs producing his new album!! itâs gonna be amazing

This video was soooo fun to watch! I was all smiles watching the absurdity of scanning a retail store floor with a metal detector. Two otherwise benign activities, metal detecting and shopping, webbed together to create this farcical realityâthat contrasted with his sweet melodical song following him through the store. When he started scanning items on the walls, a step further into the absurdity, I burst out laughingâby myself, alone in my home, with only my cat. Declan, charmingly, remained innocently curious the whole time. This is art.
