kp is becoming one of my favs! through her discography she's reminding me lyrically of gaga for fame monster. specifically this playfulness and clarity and i don't know how to explain it but through the sincerity and vulnerability and beauty of the songs, it feels like there's always this wink at the listener (sometimes it edges closer on almost cockiness/douchiness but in an endearing way) in the sense that they're funny and great storytellers but you actually have zero idea who they actually are. like it's so clear she is born to be a performer, few pop stars truly accomplish that kind of charisma and def not within one album. her melodies are great, always simple but never boring, the songs always feel exciting and fresh especially when you listen back to the 1950 EP. im so excited to see the music that she'll release and i hope we get a lot of it! i thought rostam must've produced on this song but i would love to hear them actually collab
