JID is critically acclaimed and has a pretty big fanbase that is growing continuously. He has a lot of momentum and there’s a lot of hype for his next album so I really think he deserved more of a mention. I took your opinion seriously right until you put Lil Pump over JID like what reasoning do you even have for that. If you’re saying popularity then that’s wrong nowadays since Lil Pump has fallen off the map and JID is charting top 10 on Billbord, doing massive features, performing at Coachella and has one of the most hyped up albums of the year.

(ps I feel like 2018 being rated pretty highly deserves more of an explanation. While I don't necesarilly think these guys are all ~good~, I think the movement that the core group that I mentioned was apart of, is pretty significant for music in the 2010's-onward)
