I'm watching your video on your 4 liter air still, and you are right about it being too small.
I use a 5 gallon unit that requires an independent heat source and a water circulation pump.
But with 4 lbs of sugar, 1tsp. Distillers yeast and 4 gallons of water, I get about 1/2 gallon of 200 proof alcohol in about 5 days. Which I can then use as a disinfectant, a solvent, a fuel, an anesthetic, or an intoxicant.

Good stuff my brotheršŖš» So I wanted to put it out there that tomorrow I will be doing my very first run. 30% Bloody butcher 25% yellow corn 25% Malt split 50/50 between Honey malt and regular 2 row. All sugars I used in 16 gal mash is 10lb Honey and 10lb corn sugar 4lb brown sugar. Initial Gravity 1.085 almost 090 but it was dark outside. Itās dry so Iām rocking in the morning after my finings finish

āTake it easy on the woodsmoke and go from thereā 17:40
As example are we talking 5% smoked cherry malt 10% smoked malt of the grain bill.
Vs 50-100% of heavy peated smoked in a scotch. š

It is important to note that it isn't simply a matter of "drinking it." especially like some college kid. You need to smell it and note the aromas; sip it, let it wash around your mouth; savor it and note the palate.
