Very relatable. I've been in situations where I felt I could give him everything only to be rejected. Throw myself into some kind of project to escape the pain, rinse, repeat.
Now I'm nearly 39 and I believe I won't find love. Partly because anything over 30 in gay years is 'over the hill' and partly because the one guy who genuinely loved me died. For me, it's probably too late but for you, I'm happy you found someone :)
