I just don't understand the whole non binary thing at all tbh and think all it does is reinforce the gender binary even more because it's basically saying a woman is like this [insert stereotypical female thing here] and a man is like this [insert stereotypical male thing here] and if you want to do something not stereotypical for your gender like a man who wants to wear a dress or a woman who wants short hair you're "non binary" because men/women don't do that. Idk, I respect peoples pronouns but sometimes it seems so backwards to me.

I’ll always have such respect for Demi just for being open & honest no matter what ppl are gonna say. I love a real bitch. What sucks is the world doesn’t like real so her undeniable talent isn’t getting recognized the way it should be

I love how happy and authentic Demi is being. It makes me so excited about this new era and album. Demi has always tried to be as honest and open about their life. I'm so proud to have been a Lovatic my whole life, and I'm a better person and more open-minded because of Demi and their journey. It's truly beautiful to see, and I am proud to be a part of this. Next stop, Ryman Auditorium on October 25th for the Holy Fvck Tour👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This is why Demi doesn’t do small show interviews like this anymore cause wtf is that tabloid bait title. Out of everything she said that’s what yall chose to headline 👎

I think pronouns are not bad, but they're just in a way keeping to the stigma of "being female" and "being male" and they/them is just a way to non categorize yourself. When the pronouns are not the issue, it's the people putting gender into stereotypes. Demi saying "I've been feeling more feminine lately" well yeah, but that should have nothing to do with pronouns. I can feel more feminine somedays, and then dress and feel more masculine other days. But I identify as a she/her. People should be able to be whoever they wanna fucking be without being criticized for being too masculine for a female and too feminine for a male. In my eyes, pronouns are our way as a society to weed that behavior of stigmatized gender roles and getting people used to the concept so that we can one day accept eachother just how we are and not feel uncomfortable to be like a man when you're actually a woman. Or if you actually get a sex change, the process to get there won't be as harsh when it comes to how other people perceive it. And I have nothing against they/them pronouns, but its just a gateway to get to where we need to be in society. And I don't fully see it necessary in the long run. Genders and gender roles shouldn't be so strict and need to be more fluid. We shouldn't care if we are female or male by birth and what pronouns we go by. Just be your damn self and people just need to get to the point of acceptance overtime. And it will get there. All the ignorant elders will die off and we'll be left off with a more tolerance driven world where pronouns will likely be less of an issue and won't matter as much. Coz they serve a good purpose but in a small way keep the problem going until we finally get to our endgoal and remove them entirely. Pronouns I see a transition step in our history. I hope no one takes this the wrong way. But that's just my insight, I'm just thinking more long term than most would. I see a bigger picture. And I just see it problematic if people change up their pronouns based on if they feel more feminine or not than usual. Feel like doing that loses the purpose that they serve and the main point of why they became a thing to begin with. Will respect the decision, and call them what they want. But It's not fast fashion.

One problem with pronouns is that sometimes they lead to confusion when talking about many people and the person you are speaking to is not sure who he or she is that you are referring to.

she's so confused, she's never had an identity issue literally there's never been an indication of her past that she was confused about her identity; all her problems were always related to substance abuse and drugs and now she's hiding behind the they/them thing to justify them instead of confronting it.. anyways I can't wait to see her live on tour and hear her magnificent vocals 🎸🔥
