Another just amazing video. So beautiful.
I had two thoughts while I was watching it. First, is it just me or are you guys looking much more fit??
Second, I have a very good friend who, for health reasons, gave up alcohol. Yesterday was a full year since he gave it up. Very proud of him. Glad he is alive.
Joen. Those of us who know about your decision are also very proud of you.
You’re experiencing high levels of stress, but you are not resorting to the easy fix of alcohol. And you seem like a stronger person because of the choices you’ve made. Love you guys.

Having lived in Portugal for 4.5 years, starting in Lisbon, and then moving south to Sesimbra, Alentejo and Costa Vincentina have become my favaourite place in the world - specifically around Aljezur and surrounding area. It's unspoilt, authentic and really where I am looking to settle. Since then I have aquired a property in exactly that area, working on building a touristic business, both to be a home for me and my family, but a place people can visit to stay and explore what life is truly like in that region. The nature, beaches, food & wine, laid back nature and affordability really make Alentejo and Costa Vincentina shine as an unspoiled paradise. PS, Comporta has already been gentrified by the elite, it's overpriced and frankly not all that impressive, too many mosquitos!

Nice eclectic town and beautiful beach. love the sun set. Places like this need a few good social entrepreneurships to grow a stable and lively economic zone. A lot of places in Europe are loosing their young people due to lack of oppertunity and enitiative as you mentioned. This video high lights your point that beauty is in nature and being surrounded by it. Oh, walking is a great excercise to clear the mind, body and soul.

That sunset!
Neither my grandmother, my mother nor I, have been anywhere near Bali… but I did want to go since I was a child and watched South Pacific… Bali High!
I’ll be very happy settling for Costa Vicentina!
I remember the first time I drove through Aljezur. It’s really pretty!
Great video… fun to see your friends again.

What's very interesting about Costa Vicentina is that it has been almost completely abandoned by the locals. Up until very recently Costa Vicentina was one of the hardest places for especially young Portuguese to live, as jobs have been limited to farming since basically always. In fact, we were told stories by locals who said depression and a high suicide rate have been at crisis levels up until not that long ago. That's why most have left. Obviously, it's not a problem today since you don't really find a lot of Portuguese people here. We mentioned in our second last video that there is an incredible amount of Nepalese people in this region, so when you drive - or walk - around, you see them all over, as if you are on Bali, not that Nepalese and Indonesians are the same, but it's interesting to see. Anyway, when we say "the next Bali" we mean it in the best way possible, and hopefully Costa Vicentina will never become all the bad things that Bali has become. And I don't think it's going to happen any time soon, since the coast is so long and the terrain in-between towns so rugged. In many ways, Costa Vicentina offers what feels like much more genuine tourism, where it's more for people who travel rather than people who vacation. There's a big difference here, as the latter - at least in my book - is where you come to exclusively indulge rather than explore and connect with the environment. That's all, see you in the next video, where you guys can count your blessings you are not in our shoes 😂!
