Growing a garden is a very rewarding experience. Eating your own chemical free foods is super satisfying. This man is a treasure to beginners and his knowledge is wonderful. You have a wonderful community of beautiful people who are willing to share their lifes knowledge with you. This has been one of my favorite videos so far,all the with the garden. ❤❤❤

A student of soil science and a food garden educator, this episode made my heart so happy! I ADORE seeing people plant their first garden. One of my favourite experiences ever was teaching a worm composing and balcony gardening workshop at a community centre in my neighborhood, then, a few months later, running into someone who took the workshop and having them tell me all the things they had growing. Growing your own foods is an incredibly joyous and satisfying process. Welcome! ❤🌱🌻🥦🍓

20:10 That English man is full of useful information in regards to making compost. He made very important note to avoid Citrus fruit when making compost as you are working against yourself due to high PH level which bacteria can't survive 👍

Hi kids, Get your asparagus and artichokes planted ASAP. They take about 3-4 yrs to start to really produce. Kinda like trees. They multiply so they'll need a lot of their own space to live for years. Strawberries in a contained space need their own bed too. If you plant mint IN POTS and place everywhere to naturally repel rodents. Pots because if you plant in ground it spreads like wild fire and will take over the garden. Don't forget cat nip :)
