Another classic from BOC's 1981 live concert in Hollywood, Florida. No hanging Chads, just great guitar playing and singing. Amen.

Had Zeppelin done something this good it would be considered an all time classic.

Outstanding live version of a killer song that should have been ranked alongside all the iconic greats of the genre. Life, managers, and music critics may not be fair, but history one day will rank BOC as major players of our age. BOC have been unfairly overlooked, but WILL have their day in the sun….a song like THIS just CAN’T be ignored.

Amazing. I've been a fan for years, but had no idea how talented Buck Dharma was until I just saw that video.

Certainly one of the best live bands I have ever seen, and I saw them multiple times back in the 1980's.

Gotta love that opening riff: two skull-crushing power chords, and then a 1940s boogie-woogie lick!

The first concert I ever went to was BOC on this tour!!! I remember it like it was yesterday!!! Springfield, Mo. 1981 at Hammons Center!!! I've been to alot of concerts since then, but nothing has ever topped that one!!! Buck was wearing the gold suit too!! Good times :)

Love this song and cities on Flame. First time I saw BOC was at the Springfield, Illinois armory back in around 1975 or 1976 with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band as the opening act. American rock at its finest.

The best BOC is right here. - This is from 1981!!!!! - This is the year that the song "Burnin for You" was released. - The band has never been better, before or after. - In fact, any other videos from 1981 will easily demonstrate this, in my humble opinion. - I have been a fan from 1976 until now. - Yes they sound, look and are literally terrific nowadays, even in 2020. - As I lister to and search for material, classic and new, I honestly believe that the year 1981was their best ever. - I also have enjoyed some somgs from 1981 here on YouTube that are from a live radio broadcast that they were part of that covered the nation one night.- I believe it was from New Haven CT colesium before it was demolished. - Pat Benatar did a live thing from there as well and that show was even a phenomenal one. - Being from Ohio, I can say that there were many great performances here but I really would have loved seeing a concert in New Haven. - If anyone knows about the live 1981 radio performance of Blue Oyster Cult playing Don't Fear the Reaper then please let me know how to find it. - Thanks for this upload. - GREAT JOB! - Ohio.
