Same! It’s nice to hear someone else speak out on this. There seems to be very little research about this…I only realized this was cyclical when my therapist pointed it out. For me it starts creeping up in March but April and May are the worst. Daylight Savings means more light more action and way less quiet time for most ppl.

I get seasonal depression in the spring. Part of it is allergies, a huge part of it is an increase in light. I’m not bipolar, the light just makes me miserable. The light just hurts. I also lose all energy and motivation. I get huge spikes in energy in the evening so in the winter when it’s dark 24/7, I am so productive. I’ll be out snowshoeing, walking, cleaning, doing yard work, all in the dark. But, when it’s bright all the time I don’t have that energy. I just get sad or anxious all because the increase in daylight.
