I forgot to mention. It is sooooo common when playing the C/B to not play the second fret of the D String. I see this all the time. The chord kinda looks like an E7 chord, but with your index on the B string 1st fret and you mute the open D with your middle finger. So it would look like this X A2 D0 G0 B1 E0 Potato Potahto. Just wanted to mention that. Rock on

Thank you, thank you! I've played these chords for ages, but didn't realize how the naming convention worked. Old dog, new tricks. ;)

Like many other commenters, I also didn't know how those chords functioned or why they were used. I knew they were two chords mashed together but I thought it was a voicing thing more than a movement thing. Thanks for the insight. I can't wait to dig through some of my music to find some of these to try this new angle at the old problem.

I love your Patreon Account and am really looking forward to practice lessons on this. This combined with the Tuesday lesson answer so many of my questions regarding how to make the rhythm sound more interesting. I have away thought of the melody being the high notes. This whole concept of low register melody is very cool and new to me. I thought I heard Friend of the Devil starting up a few time during this lesson.
