As an old woman, whoā€™s 17 yo son is constantly watching true geordie, I was really interested to watch this. I always liked him but it was great too see him in a differently and more vulnerable.. this was very well done to both

The 2 minutes where Steven talks about how companies are valued based on how they are packaged was worth the entire length of this podcast. Incredible insight.

All I could think about when Brian said about ringing the doctor himself and then speaking on how much antidepressants helped, is how much that is going to help at least one person. The importance and impact of this type of honesty cannot be understated. Thanks for telling your story Brian and thanks for bringing it to us Steven. Brilliant interview.

Brian is just as brilliant as he is an interviewer at being interviewed. Telling his story so honestly is so refreshing. Legend.

Brian is such an inspiration for all of us, as someone from Newcastle myself I massively appreciate him as a human. True entertainment needs to be a listed company by 2025.

Been watching Brian since his early fifa days, the reason Iā€™ve stayed so long is down to how relatable he is. Anyone thatā€™s come from a similar background will have gone through most of feelings he mentions in this and thatā€™s what draws you in. Heā€™s literally the type of man youā€™d meet in your local pub thatā€™s worked hard enough to fulfil his true talent. To me thatā€™s the most marketable tool there is - being relatable. I hope one day to be able to have a pint with the man himself. Respect to you both.

When he says ā€œI truly donā€™t care if people like me or hate me. I just donā€™t want to hear it, because then I will careā€. Wow, that hit home. I love how open he is about his feelings, I think this podcast will help a lot of people out there who are suffering

I absolutely loved this. Had a mate that worked the rigs with Brian and honestly speaks so highly of him. What I loved about this episode the most though is how natural and comfortable you BOTH looked. This was the first one where I didn't feel I was watching DOAC so much as two mates having a general chat and catch up

What Steven said makes so much sense about the branding and packaging of Brian's image in order to get the respect he deserves. Shows instantly the value that a branding / marketing advisor with real quality can do for you.
