Surprised at the lack of presence in the 44B, I can see why the SM7B gets used so much in broadcasting, my favourite was the Lomo 19a9 as its focus and clarity was immediate. The host did a great job here, look forward to more demos.

the vaseline, while seemingly playful at first glance, actually serves as a medium through which the audio can circumvent through, ultimately rendering the person wearing said vaseline in a position of complete submersion of sound. It's actually common place for audio producers to grapple with facial eczema as a result of covering their face with it day in and day out. Everybody that has so much as their left pinkie in the music production world knows this. The more you know though.
FYI, there's a famous saying that's common in production circles that goes: engineering audio without an inch-thick vaseline mask is like trying to dance with iceskates on your feet (it can't be done).
