Here I react to "Lucky" through perspective of Paulo Coelho novel "Veronika Decides to Die" - read by Aurora several times. 😊

Welcome to Balaura's Channel!

This is where I react to Aurora videos - I am a beginner in almost everything...but I think that warriors and weirdos need to share their discoveries with each other.

For sure it is interesting to listen to your interpretation even if it is different from mine. But her songs are so good for interpretation and you can find your own one. You can say she has multilayered meaning in her songs. Ps. I did not read "Veronika Decides to Die" but I remember she mentioned this book in her book recommendations and it is nice connection :). And of course she could be inspired by the novel.

I think that I could become addicted to these "Story Time"-like videos of yours. Thank you! One of my favorite AURORA performance videos is "...Dance on the moon (Live) (Existe for love session)". I especially like what she says when she momentarily stops singing, to speak to the "audience". However, (as she often does) she changes/forgets her original lyrics of the song. Nevertheless, this one has a wonderful cosmic feel, in my opinion. Anyway, I will look forward to watching your next video - no matter what AURORA song you choose to analyze. Please, continue!

Nice! I suggested the connection between Lucky and Coelho's novel like 2 days ago...and you already got on it. :) Obviously the notion that Lucky is written from the perspective of the protagonist of that novel is my opinion....and I could be wrong. And obviously songs have multiple layers of meaning. But I'd just never seen anyone make the connection before and kinda got on a mission to spread the word. Maybe one day this theory will get to Aurora and she'll confirm or deny. :)

Translate : Many AURORA songs have multiple interpretations and in my opinion this is intentional because she writes for her fans and not for the public in general or to please a radio station or a producer. She does not seek world fame for several reasons: - she did not write for herself but for others to sing her songs, she does not speak about herself in her songs, very little love, but she addresses us directly so that we receive its message, but as we are different, everyone interprets it in their own way. - one day (when?) she will stop concerts (not music) because she will want to change, write books, make films or write contemporary music...? - being too well known could be dangerous because she sings about society, the climate crisis, sexual freedom, the rejected people of our world... that doesn't please everyone! - her goal is not to raise as much money as possible but to do what she wants and that did not always please her producer before 2023 (for example for the unofficial videos of "The seed " and "Daydreamer"). - she knows that she is the best in pop/variety and therefore will be recognized as such in years to come, whenever. Regarding "Lucky" I don't think AURORA read the book in question before starting to write the lyrics since it was the first song she wrote at the age of 9. The lyrics were inspired by her because she could not bear the pain of losing a loved one to suicide. Hence its multiple interpretations because we can rarely explain a suicide. This song was undoubtedly reworked with others for the release of his first record, but not the 2005 version!
