Back in 2004.. I was just coming out of my shell. Met this sweet dude who chose to chill with me instead of going to a party. We played hacky sack.. badly. Listened to some of his original music.. talked... then he played this song for me. It was an amazing night. I fell asleep on his couch and he covered me with a blanket and went to bed. Never once tried to put any moves on me. I went home the next morning, called him for a date the following night. Fast forward almost 14 years, and we are married with three beautiful kids. Music can make some amazing things happen, when the moment is right. ❀

Danke! đŸ„Č

Ohh, can't anybody see We've got a war to fight Never found our way Regardless of what they say How can it feel, this wrong From this moment How can it feel, this wrong Storm in the morning light I feel No more can I say Frozen to myself I got nobody on my side And surely that ain't right Surely that ain't right Ohh, can't anybody see We've got a war to fight Never found our way Regardless of what they say How can it feel, this wrong From this moment How can it feel, this wrong How can it feel, this wrong From this moment How can it feel, this wrong Ohh, can't anybody see We've got a war to fight Never found our way Regardless of what they say How can it feel, this wrong From this moment How can it feel, this wrong

This song always has, and always will, just haunt me to my core. I close my eyes and it is 1995 again. When I was young and the world made some kind of sense...

This music is so classically haunting and sensual.

Man... best Portishead song ever made, and one of the best songs ever made, from any band or artist.

I heard this song on acid once and I thought it was like 30 minutes long. Hits the soul for sure. Amazing beat. Amazing voice. Amazing acid! I miss the 90s

Beth is just so good.  One of those singers with tons of character; never artifice for its own sake.  I'm never in doubt of her sincerity.
