In a way Nirvana was too fully realized, such a perfectly unique artistry. They don't fit into an evolutionary bracket of rock, with transitional bands on either end of them. No one could ever really build on their sound meaningfully, so it's still tightly bound with their times. I was a little kid then, and the impact of Nirvana's vision was indelible on me. I was too young to be an active listener, and I never owned a recoed or listened to them regularly. But the presence was always there.

I remember when i was young and my nivana shirt got hole in the back made me so upset since i couldnt get another one at the time. I was asking my mom daily for a new one and she said no and look little sad telling me no. The next day i saw her cutting the nirvana logo with the smiley face and was sowing its to the back of my black jacket i was so happy and people at school wanted one too. Great memories.
