I was born in Raleigh NC in 1971... I love 70s..80s..and 90s music . I remember this song being played back in the day at the skating rink and at The YMCA summer camp on Bloodworth Street. I had my natural hair braided swinging down my back and my jelly shoes on. This is what you call an oldie, but goodie.I actually typed in heartbeat sounds so I could take a nap and this popped up.I'm a 50 year old married GlamMa living in Columbia SC now...awww the good old days.

This was my favorite song as a child! My parents always had basement parties...my Dad was a DJ in the 70s and early 80s, this song was always on rotation! My Dad had the extended club version 🔥🔥🔥

I was 11 years old the first time I heard this song!! I was walking down 125th St. with my big sister and Mr. Bobby was playing this out of his record shop. Sweet sweet memories of a Harlem long gone. Much love from Harlem NYC ❤️❤️

Born in 77 but remember this as a kid. This song is the bomb. The whole band deserves recognition for this classic.

Good memories when life had no worries ( that we knew about) for my brother, cousins and I. We were just running around playing, listening and dancing to good music and having fun. No bills, not a lot of violence and killing. A good fight here and there but was back friends the next day having fun again

I was delivering beer today at work and someone in a town I was in was in a van and his system was loud as fuck and he was playing this song I hopped out the truck and started dancing to this song.🤣 It made my day feel so better. I had the block cracking the fuck up. The base that was coming out of his 💩 was rockin hard.
