In this video I talk about how sometimes self improvement is not enough. I detail some of my feelings with self improvement and personal growth over the last few months and how I'm trying to change my perspective on my productivity, habits and overall improvement.

Have a great week guys! Cheers.

"Sometimes, the smartest thing to do is to do nothing" I already had a break 2 month ago and now that I'm continuing, everything just feels more right.

Thank you so much for your comments. I have experienced myself that self-improvement can become a vicious circle where one will focus too much energy and time on personal goals and achievements. Real lasting (self) improvement will come from positive actions through and within our surroundings

This channel has been huge for me in 2020 - focusing on the things I can change like my fitness has let the rest of the world fade out a little. Thanks for that.

Your channel is one of the most genuine bunch of people this generation has possibly seen......... no filters ,,,, just ,,,,,,, opinions perfected with research, experiments and observation........... your work motivates a lot of people ........ i think that should be motivating enough for this channel to thrive in highs n lows ............. love this channel !!!

Thank you for sharing this video. I found it to be very uplifting and enlightening especially during this difficult and unprecedented time period. It's good to know that there are others out there who have been struggling with productivity and motivation as well. I've personally made it a goal during this pandemic to call and connect with people at least 5 times a week to not only stay connected, but to reach out to my friends and family who may also be struggling during this time period. As a result, I've started rekindling friendships with some people that I haven't talked to in a long time, and I have found it to be very rewarding and meaningful.

Its important to keep active even in these difficult times. Working out, running, walking in nature is what keeps me going.

Thank you so much for this video! I follow you guys through my other username and had sub with this one as well!! I watched Michael's channel from time to time as well and I've been really knocked down by the events of this year and struggling to get some control back in my life. Your video totally nailed what I needed to hear right now.

2020 has been terrible, but I am grateful for the relationships I've maintained and developed online because of the extra time. Without them, I would have lost my mind.

I love you guys! Your videos are among my favourite in the self-improvement niche. The point of this video in particular has resonated with me so deeply. From the beginning of the year I have my mind fixed upon the goal of making 2020 the best year of my life. I am constantly being startled by how much people connect their personal mental well-being with the events of the surrounding world. When the news of quarantine reached me, I knew it would give me the ground upon which I can construct the best physical shape of my life. Having reached that, I’ve shifted my main focus to achieving inner peace and happiness. Couple of days ago my grandmother passed away. Not a close friend, as it is in your case, but also an important person in my life. Instead of letting the sorrow fill me, I knew I needed to continue working on myself, as I did before, eagerly reaching for improvement in every aspect of my existence in order to make her proud, even though she’s not around anymore, and even though I don’t believe in afterlife. Freedom of mind is the essential freedom which every human has, and it is painful for me sometimes to see many of us willingly tying ourselves down to a falling rock of unpredictable affairs of our chaotic world. My condolences, stay strong, you are remarkable!
