those who wanna know, i believe you gotta wet sand and polish the surface to hide the bumps from new paint.

White hides defects well. Best to use the tiniest brush and apply coats less thick as original paint. Wet sand with 1000 grit prior to touch up. After color dries wet sand lightly with 2000 grit. Clean and dry and apply clear in small coats just like paint applied. DO NOT WET SAND THE CLEAR. Finish with buffer after clear cures for a couple of days.

Can I leave the wax pencil on my car for a night because I have everything circled with wax pencil but I won't be able to start working again till tomorrow night right now the wax pencil comes off with rubbing compound but I don't know if the sun will change something.
