I have LOVED Annie Lennox since..... I think 1983-ish. I know it was the EURYTHMICS LP TOUCH. Annie's vocals & octave range have always blown me away, taking me to a special HAPPY PLACE. Unless I am feeling a little blue, THE MIRACLE OF LOVE has to be skipped in my playlist of EVERYTHING ANNIE.
I have not been able to stop listening to I'VE GOT A LIFE which was part of the best of... and years ago I know. I'VE GOT A LIFE & SING are my HEAVY PLAYS, I just can't help it.... AMAZING!!!!

It has been years since I have purchased a full album of an artists work. That could be due to lack of music "ARTISTS". Annie Lennox has made me feel excited about an album release once again! Can't wait to buy it!

Annie Lennox is a national treasure both for her native land and here in America. IMHO, anyone disagrees with this, they simply cannot recognize real talent vs. hype and flash in the pan performances. Annie is an amazing performer from the time she started singing to us in the Eurythmics up to now. Her voice and style is way up in the Barbra Streisand, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Judy Collins (and so many others) class of excellence. She is unique, she is always thought-provoking, she is a lovely person, and a great artist. She is Annie. Take that you haters! You're all a bunch of tasteless morons or you're just too young to know any better. Sure there are younger excellent artists and they will mature into truly legendary artists but it doesn't happen overnight.
