Brown noise is great for blocking out external sounds and distractions and even internal rumination. It sounds a lot smoother and less harsh than white noise and pink noise which use higher frequencies. I've also adjusted the EQ on this audio, to make it sound EVEN SMOOTHER and more soothing. The effect is a little bit like sleeping in the back of a moving car – very relaxing!

Use this one with or without headphones! It can help you:

Focus
Sleep
Mask tinnitus
Reduce your internal monologue to help with concentration
Calm children, babies and even pets

As someone with severe insomnia going through a death in the family, thank you for this❤ I haven’t been able to sleep more than an hour or two for over a week, this allowed me to relax my mind enough to get 5 straight hours of sleep I desperately needed, so thank you❤ I really hope you see this message and my gratitude 🙏

I’ve heard over 200 videos of brown noise and I have to say this is the best one I’ve heard . Never take this down 🙏🏻

A year after you posted, this is still the best brown noise out there. So many others say they’re “smoothed” but still have the high fuzz that’s the aural equivalent of chewing tinfoil 😖 Or they add a generic “rain” sound that ruins the monotony that makes brown noise so good for my brain. You are still the champion 🏆

I love that more people are finally discovering different colored sounds! This is such a helpful tool for me. Its truly odd and amazing to experience mental silence after non-stop ADHD narration playing in my head. I hope this contuines to help a lot of people. :)

To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder:After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸 ( This comment isn't originally mine, but I think it can help a lot of people :) )

🙂 This video accidentally played on my cellphone and suddenly at that time I felt unusually sleepy, not as usual, then I realized that there was a sound like an air conditioner (AC) from my cellphone and I checked it. It turned out to be brown noise, which I had never heard of before. Now this video is my lullaby.

I love this so much. My daughter is 7 clearly has undiagnosed ADHD and anxiety and I got her a weighted blanket and played this to her and it’s the first time in about a month that she has fallen asleep without becoming really stressed.

Nice work! Pleasantly calm...It sounds like I'm cruising in a passenger jet, crossing the ocean @ 35,000 ft, under calm conditions. TY!

I live with a lot of pain. This noise actually provides me relief similar to some varieties of cannabis but without any high. This sample is gentler and more effective than other brown noises I have heard. It works for me even without headphones. Gratitude 🙏🏼

i switched from another video, anticipating a weird noise, maybe loud, maybe shrill, but I shuddered, this is the most perfect sound I've heard

If I’m tired during the day, I’ll sit in a comfortable chair, turn this on, and set a 20 minute alarm. I’m out quick and feel refreshed once I’m up.
