As a parent, Iām horrified. Olivia is exactly right, Vaush is talking about someoneās CHILD. The argument that CP of one event being shared X amount of times is fine because itās not like that makes it happen over and over again is so asinine, it makes me sick. The fact it happened ONCE, to ONE CHILD is enough to make it morally reprehensible. No amount of shares/saves/what the fuck ever is going to negate that.

In my opinion there is a very clear distinction between something produced by child slavery and CP. In the case of chocolate for example - the horrible part of child slavery as Hila pointed out is not as apparent AND it's not the main product. In the case of CP - the harm that is being done IS the product. People ENJOY seeing the ACT that is causing harm. That's a HUGE difference. You don't buy chocolate BECAUSE it is produced by children.

One of the problems with Vaush's argument is that it basically chalks everything up to the financial aspect of it, without even considering the trauma a child goes through, and how much that can be amplified the more people see that trauma for their own pleasure.
