I wrote this song way back in circa 2010. First it was called Eons apart but I changed it later to So far apart since eon is distance in time and didn't match the lyrics.

I was a member of actonrockers Debbie at the time and we played the song for some years but never record it in the studio and I don't think we ever played it live. The song is quite far from the Backyard babies/Hellacopters-sound Debbie played but the question "Does anyone have anything new?" was quite frequent in our rehearsal room and I thought we might just give it a try. I had the whole song ready in my head and the only thing that changed in the rehearsal was Mats' drumming and the 1-2-3-4 "marks?" marcato? accents? in the bridge (not sure about the english words for "markering" :) )

I've been working on this recording every now and then since 2017. I really tried to get the drums as close as Mats was playing it. Vocals was recorded in march 2022 along with the final mix and master.
