Ladies and gentlemen, Jorge Navarro is not fooling around. This man transformed a medium quality recording (I own the DVD, I know) of a great show into something so delightful that anyone in their right mind (that's right) would have to consider it one of the top 10 most important and impressive musical documents of the 20th century. I'm not kidding, it's up there with the original rule-bending score of the Rite of Spring, with A Love Supreme, with Duke Ellington's American marriage of African and European influences, with the best work of Varèse, Berg, Ligeti, Messiaen, Reich, and all those other wonderful composers. Hats off to Jorge Navarro, all hail!

The music of Frank Zappa has saved me from suicidal depression, from age 16 (1971) through today (5/27/19). Music is the ultimate 'high'.

Doo-wop, reggae, metal, modern concert music, jazz, and other unclassifiable stuff all in one concert. No one does it like Zappa

The Black Page is absolutely brilliantly performed.

Frank Zappa was for guitar what John Coltrane was for the sax or Miles Davis for the trumpet. This was iconic. It will not be repeated in the same form by anybody.

FZ is one of the greatest musical geniuses of any era. His quick wit and satire come through in his lyrics, and the musical composition can at times, make the great composers envious. I miss you Frank, but I'm so glad your music lives on!

That version of Bolero takes me back to 1990. That summer a friend loaned me "The Best Band You've Never Heard" and a week later I was hooked. I drove my family, friends and neighbors crazy. I would blast that CD as loud as my stereo could handle. Over and over all summer long. After that I bought Joe's Garage then Zoot Allures. Then I found, music disease heartbreak they all go together!

Incredible. Who else gives a 2 hour nonstop concert but a genius like Zappa and these great musicians with him.

TVE, the Spanish Television, gave this Zappa’s show live in 1988. I watched it then. I’m watching it again now. With the same pleasure. Zappa’s music remains fresh, undated, and so immensely funny and playful.

The world is such a horrible place these days but when I hear Frank play the guitar I can escape it albeit only temporarily. It’s such a comfort. Thanks 🙏🏻

Saw Zappa on this tour in Birmingham UK and it was a great concert, even after 35 years it's still in my memory.
