This song saved me from my darkest times. First time I heard it I always thought of letting go as of ending myself. Now I can finally listen to it and think of letting go all the things that ever hurt me. Thereâs light at the end of the tunnel, it has it ups and downs, but the ups are so worth it, please never give up

My friend recommended me this last month, he's now gone into universal freefall..
Edit: my original comment was a more personal tribute, but i read a read a few of the negative comments and began to feel guilty so i edited the comment to make it more generic. Upon reflection, i wish i'd have just left it how it was. It's beautiful to see the amount of love and support that can be held in a comment section on youtube. To the few who decided to leave negative comments, please remember there are other human beings at the other side of your computer screen.

This is the first song my non verbal, 4 yo autistic son has actually asked for (he points to it). I literally cried, I never really knew if he was listening along, jamming with mommy. I know itâs not the most appropriate song for a kid but seeing him calm down instantly when it comes on is just amazing.

I interpret this song as the continuous struggle of holding yourself back from your full potential. Often we find a means of escape or numbing out, befriending the devil, any vice that takes away the pain. Even the devil needs time alone, sometimes! Sit with your shit, stop trying to appease everyone else, ask for help if you need it. Let go of whatever limiting belief or action holds you back - free fall.

When my father passed away at 40 just by falling down the stairs it changed my whole life. Death became such an easy thing to me. Just one wrong slip. It ruined me for a very long time but now that itâs becoming more comfortable to talk about, songs like this become so much better to listen to. There is so much to this story but I just want you to know this song helps me every day that I live on

This is such a dark yet liberating song about just giving up and allowing yourself to spiral towards death. That may sound depressing in theory, but as someone who has struggled with suicidal feelings for most of my life, I can tell you that accepting death as THE inevitable ending to yourself and everyone else is one of the most comforting things one can do. The monster in the closet is no longer scary once you get to know him and get used to him. Soldiers in war must eventually learn to take the lives of others, and eventually it becomes just another part of their routine. To embrace death, not in fear or resentment, nor happiness, but as something you don't concern yourself with and yet accept will one day get you, is a beautiful thing for the tortured soul. Accepting death better motivates you to accept life as well, because few things in life are more worrying than death; if you don't fear death, then doing all the things you were too afraid to do before in life no longer seem so grandiose and impossible. Live each day like the last day of school. Embrace death, and live life.
