Great vid. I would like to add something to your great build. As a welder of over 50 years when you tested you rotary table your weld was a bit cold and the table was moving too fast . To eliminate incorrect speed , set up a variable speed controller that is foot pedal controlled. As you are welding you ca see if the part is moving too slow or fast and adjust on the fly.
The metal fill was slightly lite.
Having built several rotary tables I have found that the motor will carry the amperage just fine. The only problem is the arcing in the bearings. This can be avoided by setting up two large carbon arc brushes either on the shaft or on the bottom of the plate. This will eliminate any arcing in the bearings. 35 years ago I built a table with a gearbox that had needle bearings in it and have ran some serious amperage thru it . It is still in use today without any bearing problems.
