I love you walking through your thought process to get your plan together. I'd love to see a companion video that maybe goes over some of the electrical on the table as well. This is pretty genius. Your son's reaction on the "just let it rust" comment is golden!

Your passion for engineering is inspirational, but your passionate devotion to fatherhood is truly Devine! The lessons we learn from you are more valuable and farther reaching than you may realize. Thank you, sincerely!

I thought my custom built welding table was the best...................UNTIL I saw the addition of the rotary table top you put in yours. Now there's no question, your table is more gooder!

Great vid. I would like to add something to your great build. As a welder of over 50 years when you tested you rotary table your weld was a bit cold and the table was moving too fast . To eliminate incorrect speed , set up a variable speed controller that is foot pedal controlled. As you are welding you ca see if the part is moving too slow or fast and adjust on the fly. The metal fill was slightly lite. Having built several rotary tables I have found that the motor will carry the amperage just fine. The only problem is the arcing in the bearings. This can be avoided by setting up two large carbon arc brushes either on the shaft or on the bottom of the plate. This will eliminate any arcing in the bearings. 35 years ago I built a table with a gearbox that had needle bearings in it and have ran some serious amperage thru it . It is still in use today without any bearing problems. I love your videos and intend to watch them all.
